Frequently Asked Questions - Court Name Field


You can search the name that you have via Google or other Internet search engines to find the court's website. The website will help you determine the court's full name.
This information almost always will be available on any court documents related to the proceeding, typically at the top of the first page.
This field identifies the court in which the lawsuit was brought. If the case involved multiple courts because of an appeal or removal from state to federal court, list all of them.
