I would like to obtain court records for all cases that have been decided from 01/01/2006 to 04/04/2009 that involve the charge of DUI and in which South Carolina Highway Patrol officer Robert Michael Flitter was a participant.Can you please tell me how I can acquire this information. I am not an expert on the South Carolina court system, but it appears that you have a number of options to search for this information.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has a website where you can do a criminal records check (click on"Criminal Records Check" in the left sidebar).
Each county court also maintains its own records, some of which are available electronically. For example, the Charleston County Court maintains a website where you can access civil, criminal, traffic, judgments, case reports, and jury lists. Other county courts can be accessed through the state supreme court website, located here.
