PS-Lasik is destroying lives. Many patients have committed suicide, lost their marriage, lost their jobs, families, eyesight, have gone blind, see double vision, halos at night, contrast issues when watching television, accelerated eye dissorders, corneal thinning called Ectasia, and the most common symptom that almost all eyes that have Lasik get, PERMANENT FLAP THAT NEVER HEALS and creates Dry Eye Syndrome so bad, that one can not function anymore or sleep at night. I went to Dr. Caro, Saint George Corrective (Destructive) Vision Center, Chicago, IL because he was a friend of the family. He assured me that I was the perfect patient candidate for LASIK, bragging about all of his accomplishments, etc...

So I did it on Aug. 24th-25th, 1999. Immediately, terrible results, the pain of a thousand needles, and blurred/skewed vision disturbances. I didn't find out until years later, that Dr. Caro had 50+ LASIK lawsuits. I believed his lies "that my eyes healed differently and will take 2,3 or maybe 5 years to fully heal." A lie I'm sure he tells all of his victims...

Today is January 13th, 2010, and my eyes still suffer with no known cure. I've been all over the world and have spent well over $35,000.00 trying to fix what the jackass ruined. He's a Charlatan Quack in the worst sense of the meaning. Many refer to him as the "God Father of LASIK." Well after all, it is blood money isn't it?

The good news is my website, www.LifeAfterLasik.com perpetuates to this day thanks to my insurance company covering all of my defense for ZERO! Nick quit after a year of trying to sue me and shutting down the website, failed. Now, ironically enough, he's being sued by the very attorneys he used to sue me!

This week, he goes on trial for his life against the State of Illinois, www.idfpr.com , who is asking to permanently revoke/suspend his medical license! May God have mercy on his soul...and hopefully, not curse Nick's children for his sins!

Don't be afraid to tell everyone online the truth, as how you see it, about how your doctor treated you. Do society a favor and warn others about any unscrupulous person or doctor! Especially when it comes to LASIK!
